CRM reporting where every bar drills down
Reports you can interrogate: every bar carries a filter back to the records behind it, dashboards run with the viewing user's permissions, and a pipeline time machine replays history. No number you cannot open.
Drillable reports
A chart you cannot open is a claim, not a report.
Every bar, slice, and cell in Ishara reporting carries the filter that produced it. Click the March column and you are looking at the deals in the March column, as a live filtered view, not an export. CRM reporting drill down here rides the same saved-view machinery as the rest of the product (and/or/not filter trees, 13 operators), so the drill lands on records you can immediately act on: reassign them, email them, move them.
- Click any segment to open the records behind it
- The drilled view is a URL a colleague can open to see the same thing
- Server-computed formula fields report like any other field: filter, sort, export
Trustworthy by construction
Dashboards that respect the viewer. History you can scrub.
Two failure modes ruin CRM reporting: numbers someone should not have seen, and arguments about what the pipeline looked like last month. Both are designed out.
Run as the viewing user
A dashboard evaluates with the permissions of whoever is looking at it. The same dashboard shows a manager the whole team and a rep their own book, honestly, with no second version to maintain. Scheduled delivery then sends it out on the cadence you set.
The pipeline time machine
Pick a date and see the pipeline as it stood that day; scrub forward and watch deals move, stall, and close. "What changed since the board meeting" stops being a memory contest and becomes a scrub bar over your own pipeline history.
Goal tracking
Set targets and track progress against them in the same reporting surface, so the number the team is judged by and the records that make it up live one drill apart, not in separate tools.
Forecast, velocity, win loss, cohorts, attribution
The pipeline views answer the questions a numerate team actually asks. Forecast reads the open pipeline so you see what the current book implies. Velocity measures how long deals really sit in each stage, which is where slow quarters are usually hiding. Win and loss reporting is fed by the outcomes recorded on deals themselves, so it reflects decisions, not folklore. Cohorts group deals by the period they entered, turning "this quarter feels slow" into a comparison you can check. Source attribution shows which sources actually produce pipeline and wins, which is the number your next marketing dirham should depend on.
Every one of those views obeys the drill rule: the bar is a doorway, not a picture. If a stage looks thin, click it, and you are reading the deals that make it thin. Planning a target instead? The raise pipeline calculator and the bid pipeline calculator run the same funnel arithmetic forwards.
Multi-currency totals that refuse to lie
Aggregates in Ishara never silently convert. When a group of deals spans currencies and a rate is missing, the total splits by currency instead of mis-summing: you see QAR 1.2m and USD 300k side by side, not an invented single number. An aggregate that quietly guesses an exchange rate is wrong in the most dangerous way, plausibly. Splitting is less tidy and more true, and reporting exists to be true.
Worked example: from a suspicious bar to an action
Monday review, and the Proposal stage looks thin. Click the bar: seven deals, and the drilled view shows five of them entered the stage more than three weeks ago. Velocity confirms Proposal is running twice its usual dwell time. Scrub the time machine back a month: the same five deals, same stage. That is not a demand problem, it is a follow-up problem, and the five records that need chasing are already on your screen with their email threads one tab away.
Reporting drill down is the difference between a meeting about a chart and a meeting about seven specific deals. See it on your own data in the app.
Frequently asked questions
What does drill down mean in Ishara reports?
Every bar, slice, and cell carries the filter that produced it. Clicking one opens the records behind the number as a live filtered view built on the same saved-view machinery as the rest of the CRM, and that view is a URL you can share. You act on the records directly rather than reconciling an export.
Do two users see the same dashboard numbers?
Only if their access grants it. Dashboards run as the viewing user, so the same dashboard honestly shows each person what their permissions allow: a manager sees the team, a rep sees their own book. Scheduled delivery sends dashboards out on the cadence you choose.
How do reports handle deals in different currencies?
Aggregates never silently convert. When a group spans currencies and a rate is missing, the total splits by currency, showing each sum side by side instead of inventing a single blended number. Less tidy, but true, and it applies to group totals across the product, not just analytics.
